First Philec turns over a Two Classroom Building on June 17, 2016

First Philec made a commitment to rebuild Linao National High School in Ormoc City after Typhoon Yolanda devastated Leyte in November 2013. The completion of the project was timely for the school year benefiting more than 250 students. Mr. Ariel Ong (President) during the ceremony gave the students facts about life and a challenge to continue doing their best, “Success is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice. Learn from the past but never dwell on the past. Focus on the future and enjoy the present. The secret to being successful today does not necessarily require PHD as how we traditionally define it. PHD can stand for Passionate, Humble and Determined. It can also stand for Purposeful, Hungry and Driven. Anyone with such character definitely has a place in First Philec.“

Tahanan ng Pagmamahal: First Philec/FPMTC Putting a Little Love Away

In March 2011, employees of First Philec/FPMTC were welcomed by sunnier smiles and warmed not by the weather but by the tight hugs and kisses of the children of Tahanan ng Pagmamahal.

Tahanan ng Pagmamahal has given these children hope and the chance to a brighter future. With 4 children enrolled in Grade School this coming June, First Philec/FPMTC has pledged to sponsor the school bags and writing supplies of these children through an ongoing activity dubbed as “Munting Tulong Mo Sa Kinabukasan Ko” where employees are urged to share their coins to fill up a 2-feet tall coin bank.
