With community pantries sprouting across the country, companies are also launching their own community pantry to help their respective communities.
Last Tuesday, April 27, First Philec launched their community pantry. Located inside their Batangas office, it is aimed to support their employees as well as encourage them to live a healthier lifestyle through a number of healthy options present. This initiative will also support our local farmers by patronizing their crops.
Through the generosity of First Philec’s members, they were able to fill the table with enough items to accommodate the number of people present in their office that day. The FPI Community Pantry is open to all of their members and will continue to be open for as long as there are goods to share.
The members of First Philec that participated in the community pantry launch brought their own eco bags, in line with their ongoing sustainability movement for a cleaner environment.
